dominique + serena is a multidisciplinary architectural studio founded by Dominique Hauderowicz and Kristian Ly Serena. We are especially interested in the social potentials of architecture and the build environment.
With inspiration from the majestic forest within which it is situated, Klimaværk is an atmospheric public art piece inhabiting a new urban space in the town of Skørping, Nothern Jutland, DK.
Consisting of a series of pieces of alumnium sheets shaped by hand, the installation inhabits a variety of walls, pavements and facades adding a layer of a reflective, fluid space: the installation is responsive to local climate phenomena - catching the sunlight, the movement of the wind and gathering rain water.
