dominique + serena is a multidisciplinary architectural studio founded by Dominique Hauderowicz and Kristian Ly Serena. We are especially interested in the social potentials of architecture and the build environment.

The studio has just begun a new project for an urban renewal in the rural town of Skørping in Northern Jutland.

A Danish version of ‘Twin Peaks’, Skørping is nestled in the midst of one of Denmarks largest forests, Rold Skov - on a hilly moraine landscape.

We will be working on a large central courtyard amidst the towns’ cultural facilities, adjacent paths and the surrounding landscape. The project focuses on the towns identity amidst the forest, age-inclusion and the resources already at hand. This is not a tabula-rasa landscape project, but an editing of what is already there.

To be updated.
